Emilie Mazzacurati

Ms. Mazzacurati is a climate tech entrepreneur and investor who has worked at the intersection of climate change and financial markets for over 15 years.
Most recently, Ms. Mazzacurati was Managing Director – Global Head of Climate Solutions at Moody’s, a role she took on following the acquisition of Four Twenty Seven, the award-winning climate risk analytics firm she founded in 2012. At Moody’s, she led the integration and growth of the climate solutions suite to provide climate analytics for banks, investors, and corporations. Previously, Ms. Mazzacurati was Head of Research at Thomson Reuters Point Carbon, where she directed research and modeling on carbon markets and decarbonization.
Emilie has published extensively on the impacts of climate change in financial markets, on climate risk disclosure, and on adaptation finance opportunities. Emilie holds a Master’s of Political Science from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and a Master’s of Public Policy from UC Berkeley.
