Felix Odhiambo Akello is Kisumu County’s Chief Heat Action Officer and part of the Climate Resilience Center’s network of Chief Heat Officers.

Odhiambo Akello has worked within the county government of Kisumu since 2016. He is also a steering committee member for the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction. He also serves as a regional steering committee member for Connective Cities.

Felix Odhiambo Akello has previously worked with ADOPT Push-Pull, World Bank Mwangaza Mtaani, ZERB-Accelerator, and several energy and environment research institutions. He is also a farmer at Felizè Organic Farms, raising alpine goats, sheep, dairy cattle, and chicken.

He holds a Master of Science from Moi University and a Master of Science from Maseno University.
