Nidhi Upadhyaya

Nidhi Upadhyaya is a deputy director for strategic initiatives and partnerships at the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht-Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Center. In this role, Nidhi supports the Center’s engagement in India, policy and finance pillar, climate resilience through gaming initiative, and fundraising strategy. In 2021, she played a key role in the UN’s Race to Resilience campaign, led by the UN High-Level Climate Champions.
Prior to joining Arsht-Rock in 2019, Nidhi was an associate director at the Atlantic Council’s South Asia Center. In this capacity, she contributed to the Center’s policy research initiatives and managed programmatic tasks. She has held roles as a researcher with the policy consulting firm, Bower Group Asia, and as an assistant manager for the Social Media Content Management and Strategy team at India’s leading business news channel ET NOW.
Originally from Mumbai (India), Nidhi graduated with a master’s in International Affairs from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs (Washington DC) in 2017 and also holds an MBA in media with a post-graduate in journalism from India.
