Jessica Dabrowski

Jessica Dabrowski is the deputy director of strategic engagement and external affairs at the Atlantic Council’s Climate Resilience Center. In this role, she shapes the Center’s strategic direction and cultivates its globally recognized initiatives. Dabrowski also manages the Center’s communications team, overseeing media relations, global events, and digital and editorial operations across platforms. With deep expertise in communications, brand and reputation management, and stakeholder engagement, she identifies and executes on opportunities to enhance the Center’s global reach, mission, thought leadership, and partnerships.
Previously, Dabrowski held several positions at the European University Institute’s Florence School of Regulation (FSR) in Florence, Italy. She drove the FSR’s digital transformation and developed communications, marketing, and community engagement strategies to amplify energy and climate research and policy events, expand the school’s executive education portfolio, and advance capacity-building programs. Dabrowski also directed strategic communications for the creation of a sister school in New Delhi, India, extending the FSR’s international reach to the Global South.
Dabrowski co-founded Lights on Women, an initiative that promotes gender equality and inclusion in the energy and climate sectors. As the initiative’s founding director, she integrated gender mainstreaming as a central focus across the Florence School of Regulation’s workstreams, research, training, and events. She launched and institutionalized scholarships championing women in energy, climate, and sustainability, and spearheaded the Energybase, a go-to resource for improving gender balance in policy debates, research, and media.
Dabrowski holds an M.A. in political science with a concentration in economic and social policy and a dual B.A. degree in public policy and administration and justice studies from James Madison University.
