Our work with game studios
The Climate Resilience Center works to provide the resources game designers, developers, and studios need to advance climate resilience. We work with game teams to develop strategic approaches to embed the real-world science of climate change in an engaging and fun way.
We developed our gaming work because of the vast opportunities to put climate resilience knowledge and skills directly in people’s hands. As our portfolio grows, we will be able to show the impact of gaming across mediums—ranging from mobile games to a collaborative board game.
Through the Gaming Center of Excellence, we connect our climate experts directly with studios to ensure that game content is informed by the science and real-world solutions. We also facilitate engagements with our gaming experts and industry veterans to ensure that the accurate and informative resilience knowledge is accessible and fun.
